IMKE studies are organized in periodical intensive study periods, where lectures and seminars are concentrated on 3-5 week study periods, 3 times a year: 1) the end of September until the beginning of November, 2) the end of January until the beginning of March, 3) April-May.
This way of scheduling gives the students outside of Estonia the opportunity to stay more in their home country, and come to Estonia for shorter periods of time.
For employed students it gives a possibility to previously arrange time off from work during study periods, and have more flexibility in arranging their time between the study sessions.
