"i didn't say/do it! backup"

teacher records the video to use it as backup 1-person exam, group exam Knowledge: what i say Process-skills: what i can do

Peer-evaluation for making evaluation perspectives

Compiling peer evaluations as videos of their different perspectives to certain project, and then using it to develop shared criteria for evaluation that everyone agrees, by cutting these different videos and mixing

Options:

a) merge up the shared perspective of evaluation criteria into the shared pool

b) developing 2 or more different evaluation criteria by extracting and combining it from shared pool

c) then joining contraversial arguments into one film that presents different evaluation perspetives clearly and maybe evokes negotiations between these evaluation perspectives

Project to be realized at workshop

Group has an artifact/activity what to evaluate.

Each group member evaluates the artifact, brainstorming ideas. This is recorded and stored in shared pool of the Fooga.

Next each group member works with the dataset individually, cutting the videos until only one clear perspective of the artifact/activity evaluation is left, which consist of combined parts taken from different persons' evaluations.

This way group gets 3 clear perspectives how to evaluate the artifact.

Next they can view these new clear perspectives and use them for defining the multi-aspect evaluation criteria of the artifact.

This is procedure follows the new kind of evaluation conception, that claims that evaluation must meet the different perspectives and that evaluation criteria must be constructed with the involvement of participants of activity or users of artifact.

Group project presentation

Free poster made by group as the presentation...

Knowledge-building exam with video tools

1st i talk, make an experiment and this is recorded. To cut and mix my theoretical knowledge and my experimental videos.

Ping-pong of shooting between teacher & students

Teacher presents theory, students' homework is to shoot and elaborate the theme in line (with examples), teacher can explain and evaluate the examples

Progress report

Presenting to the large audience 1st time, making next presentation after the person has some experience, and the cutting the important moments together to show the progress. This can also go when learning to play some instrument in music school.

The process of learning how to draw

Drawing a hand, different group members - speed up show. Evaluation of the drawing of the hand

Reissuvihko

How it is useful

Don't need to travel! Remote asynchronous exam after e-learning course

Can prove that you are taking exam

Teacher is protected from later students' arguments to make a better grade

Points attention to the process in evaluation

Value of video:

- spoken language,

- presentation skill

- look and learn from other presentations how to present
